I have been loved a girl named Yunxi， my classmate in Senior High。 She’s both beautiful and smart， so I often thought about her instead of concentrating my mind on my study at that time。 I since had a dream that I would study hard to get better grades to be admitted by a better university from that moment on， but I failed， I didn’t get enough scores to get the chance to study with her at the same college。 So ， at that moment ， I was very sad ， I didn’t have the courage to tell her ， I love you 。
But now， I build up my courage to say I love her in my class where everyone could hear。 I think everyone should be braver when they get older。 One can be coward for one time， but he can’t be coward all life long。 So I decide to express my love to her this winter holiday。 Love her is not my fault， whether love me is her freedom。 But I must tell her what I think。 To some extent， life is what we think it is。 If we think we are refused， we must always be sad。 So smile at our lives， be brave and confident to do what we want to， our lives maybe changed。

演讲完毕，贫寒又一次抬起头，看着大家，等待大家的提问。
就在他抬起头的这一刹那，教室里响起了雷鸣般的掌声，足足持续了一分钟。
“How long have you been loved her？”
“More than three years。”
“Did you fall in love with her at the first sight or after being together with her for a period of time then you find you love her and can’t do without her？”
“When I first met her， I just thought she was very beautiful， but then， after making friends with her， I thought she was really nice， so I fell in love her later。”
“What character of her attracts you most？”
“I was attracted by her kind heart and her lovely smiling。”
“You said she has a kind heart？ Can you give us some examples？”
“She was excellent in study， but she never looked down on classmates who were not。 She was always patient with them when she was helping them solve problems。”
“Why you decide to say her I love you in winter holiday？ Why not telephone her now？”
“I don’t think now is the best time to express my love to her。”
“OK， it’s enough。 You can go back and No。4 goes on。”
就在贫寒走下讲台的那一刻，教室里又涌起了潮水般的掌声，一阵接着一阵，就像那浪花，很久很久在教室里回荡。
按照老师的要求，每位同学的正文演讲时间加上同学们提问的时间不应超过三分钟，而贫寒的演讲，足足用去了七分钟。这位英语老师组织过大大小小无数次演讲比赛，可像贫寒那样，敢在教室里表达自己爱的心声的，她还是头一次见到。老师手中一直拿着秒表，她也在贫寒演讲的过程中看过好几次，可就是不忍心叫停。
等到班上同学全部做完演讲，下课铃声已经响过几分钟了，这种压堂的现象在大学是不太常见的，可是这堂课却延迟了近一刻钟。
